Join a dedicated group of diverse voices to help support us grow the EO sector and deliver excellent support and resources for members. On top of all that, it’s an excellent personal development opportunity.

Let’s not beat around the bush. We couldn’t do what we do as well without the eoa Membership Council (EMC). 

It’s no exaggeration to say that on top of helping maximise benefits for members, the EMC plays a key role in shaping the future of EO.

And, right now, we’re looking to recruit five new members. 

Why Join the EMC?

Of course, you’ll be supporting the sector and the eoa. But joining the EMC offers a personal development opportunity you can’t find anywhere else.

As an EMC member, you’ll:

• Gain experience on a proxy board, giving you hands-on insights into governance and strategic decision-making
• Expand your network within the EO sector, working alongside like-minded professionals
• Develop a deep understanding of EO sector challenges, trends, and best practices
• Enhance your leadership, communication, and advocacy skills – all while making a tangible impact on the wider eoa community

What Does the EMC Do?

The EMC contributes feedback, insights, and guidance on many key eoa activities, including:

• Shaping our membership proposition to better serve our growing community
• Providing valuable feedback on new eo Learn courses, EO Day activity, and the eoa Annual Conference
• Acting as a voice for members, bringing forward ideas, challenges, and opportunities to help shape the future of EO
• Supporting fellow eoa members by offering advice, expertise, and guidance
• Participating in quarterly meetings and ongoing discussions to ensure the continued success and evolution of the eoa
