EO Day 2026 - eoa

EO Day 2026

EO Day 2026 champions the power and potential of employee ownership, uniting businesses across the UK behind a bold ambition to propel the sector into the mainstream. Together, we’re Owning It!

Countdown to EO Day 2026 101

days to go

Friday 19 June 2026

Join the biggest celebration of employee ownership!

The countdown is on to Friday 19 June, EO Day 2026 - sponsored by Howden.

This year, we're uniting behind the bold theme of #OwningIt

Each of us owning our roles in developing Great EO creates a ripple effect of benefits for employees, businesses, the economy and communities.

Prepare to showcase how you’re owning your role in contributing to dialling up the impact and reach of EO in the UK.

For almost fifteen years, EO Day has provided a clarion call for the EO community and its supporters.

With the launch of the UK Employee Ownership Growth Strategy, the eoa is propelling EO into the mainstream. We’re working to achieve a sector of at least 7,500 employee owned businesses by 2030, with a stretch goal of 10,000.

EO Day 2026 is the perfect opportunity to support this goal and showcase how you’re #OwningIt!

A people-powered campaign built to be seen

EO Day is about more than a date in the diary. It’s a chance to celebrate your people, spotlight your stories, and show the country what employee ownership looks like in action.

Use it to showcase your EO business and uplift leaders, trustees, and employee owners who are going above and beyond.

This year, EO Day is aligned more closely with the UK Employee Ownership Awards (nominations open now, closing 8 April - don't miss out!).

You can also join us for eoaLive! on 10 June, incorporating the awards, with speakers and sessions that focus on growing the sector and supporting businesses to own their future impact – tickets now on sale.

We also encourage to shout about the impact of your EO with your teams and networks in your region, sector, or profession, media, and across your channels.

See how you can take part here, and download this year’s dedicated campaign pack for tips and resources.

So, how will your organisation be Owning It?
