Circle win NHS franchise

EOA member Circle is the first business to be awarded the franchise to run an NHS acute hospital, having won the open competitive tendering process. Hinchingbrook Hospital in Huntingdon has been facing significant challenges, and faced closure due to mounting debts. Circle’s Managing Partner, Ali Parsa, is confident that Circle’s co owned structure and inclusive approach will help turn the hospital around. He said: “Working in partnership, we are confident that we can unleash innovation that delivers real quality gains for patients in Huntingdon”. Circle has already achieved remarkable successes in both clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction ratings in their health care services in Nottingham, Burton and Bath.
