Author David Erdal signed copies of his new book on employee ownership at a February roundtable meeting a month ahead of the publication’s launch in March. Published by Random House, ‘Beyond the Corporation: Humanity Working’ tells stories of employee ownership success in many companies, in many countries, and over long periods of time – stories that profoundly challenge the validity of the conventional business model. Erdal’s 2008 book about Loch Fyne Oysters’ move into employee ownership – ‘Local Heroes’ – won critical acclaim.
