Company visit to Parfetts

Cash and carry firm Parfetts hosted the latest EOA company visit, attended by 18 of our members. Board member Robert Parfett gave the group an insight into the business, and managing director Steve Parfett talked about how he had the idea of employee ownership as a solution to the succession issue facing the company, and the two year journey to make it happen. Chair of the Partner Council, Gary Power, gave an inspiring presentation on the challenges of getting the council up and running in a large multi-site company and he was well assisted by council members Matt and Scott who gave an entertaining commentary to a subsequent tour of the site.
Feedback from the group was summed up by one attendee who described the day as 'very useful and beneficial'.
