Research in progress
December 2011
EOA currently has a number of research projects running which are nearing completion. Researchers of the three main studies all presented at the EOA’s November Conference. Academic Director of Oxford University’s Centre for Mutual and Employee Owned Business, Will Davies, has produced a topical report on how employee ownership provides many of the answers to the challenges facing modern business. The Employment Research Institute at Napier University, in a study funded by the John Lewis Partnership, has found significant results in a comparison of health and well-being levels in employee owned firms and industry norms. Post-doctoral researcher Ruth Yeomans has been conducting a study into how employee voice operates in a cross section of EOA member companies.
