Employee ownership mentors for Coalition's mutuals drive

EOA member companies make up half the ‘mentors’ in the Government’s ‘Pathfinder’ programme to pilot mutually-owned public services. Under the scheme, firms like Central Surrey Health and Sunderland Home Care will offer help and advice to health and local government units aiming for some form of mutual ownership. The move follows EOA discussions with Cabinet Office minister Francis Maude and others about the Government’s plans. Baxi Partnership, OPM, Godrevy, Care & Share Associates and John Lewis Partnership are others named as mentors.
